Picasso Jasper is not actually Jasper at all, but a metamorphic limestone.  This stone is named after Picasso the artist and his abstract work.  Picasso Jasper is found in various colours with generally unpatterned lines, swirls, patches and other markings throughout.  These markings being formed over time under heat and pressure in the earth.
