Bumble Bee (Eclipse) Jasper Skull and Raven Sculpture [1k1137]

Bumble Bee or Eclipse Jasper is a relatively rare, very distinct looking stone, from the volcanic regions of Mount Papandayan, West Java, Indonesia.  Bumble Bee Jasper is not a true Jasper, but a fibrous Calcite, with clearly recognisable yellow, orange and black banding in a beige to white base material.  The yellow and orange colouring is from Relgar content (an Arsenic Sulphur mineral) and the black colouration is derived from Pyrite.
